Speedway Trip

Over a dozen members piled on to a coach to take us to Brandon Stadium for the Bees  v Wolves match. We just expected a normal speedway night out and hoped the Bees would put up a decent fight against the  theoretically stronger Wolverhampton side.

WRONG!  It was not a normal night. Andy Watkins, our new Social Secretary, had fixed us up with a private box  overlooking the first bend. Plus, we had our own bar.

There was some cracking racing and to add to the pleasures of the evening, Bees beat the visitors 52—43.
